I had a very successful event at the Canterbury Public Library. Met a few more fans and sold bookmarks, and posters. This was the first event at which I made pre-order for the novel available to attendees. We pulled in a nice handful of orders.
The Reminder recently had an article on me. It was well-written, researched, and had only one error: I did not attend Eastern Connecticut State University... I took an online course through a school abbreviated ECSU! Anyways, you can see the article here: http://www.remindernews.com/node/7/&url=BROADN-2009-02-20-11-Ar01100
Soon I will have over a thousand copies of my novel on-hand. Everything is falling into place in a timely manner. The manuscript is now typeset . . . and Print-Ready!

WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON
"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24
In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.
I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
