WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON
"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24
In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.
I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.

I can't count how many people have come up to me at events and asked "Is this book on Kindle?" Some were handicapped and some just prefered the digital screen for its portability.
For all these fans and those waiting to read this title when they could get it on this modern contrivance: here it is.
P.S. I still prefer the pleasurable tactile sensation of paper pages. Nothing compares to holding the physical book in my hands!

Tease:
Specter, a man with no memory of his past, is awakened from sleep by the great white dragon and given the task of overseeing the destinies of six young women who wield swords whose blades remain in a constant state of rust. In the process of fulfilling his mission he learns the details of the swords’ linked histories—and discovers the startling truth of his own identity.
A war begun with betrayal a thousand years in the past erupts afresh on a distant world and one man and his daughter are caught in the middle of it; she with a sword of unknown origin, and he with a sword mightier than any other ever crafted. Allies gather, the war begins, heroes fall, and the course of a world's history is determined . . ..
