What would you like to read more about on this blog?

In a recent post on Michael Hyatt's blog, he listed advice on what topics novelists should blog about. Quite honestly, I have not been as consistent with my blogging as I'd like to be. In fact, most of the time my posts seem rather random and all over the place.

So I am asking you to give me feedback. I want as many of my blog readers as possible to tell me what you like, what you don't, what draws you in, and what disinterests you. I have been seriously considering revamping my online marketing strategy to center around my blog. A blog can be a lot more versatile and reach many more people than I have, so I need to give it better focus.

This is your opportunity to weigh in. Do you want more advice/tips on writing? Interviews with publishing professionals? Insights into my writing days? More details on how I am marketing/selling my books?

What strategies have you found successful with your own blog?

I really like writing advice , learning more about the publishing process, and opinion on the fantasy genre.

Good feedback. This is exactly the kind of comment I need.

Actually, all of the above. :D

Really that's the sort of stuff I search for and read about when I'm online. I'm always curious about how other authors work, and how they succeed. I'm always curious about their writing process and their genre. And I'm always curious about the publishing industry. Everything you mentioned above is exactly what I would look for to read, so I say go for it. :D

Writing advice, insight into current writing projects, the process of writing novels (with relevance to your current work), publishing process, book tours are always fun and with added insight into how it works.

Basically, being sneaky and tying in helpful tips with your own life and writing not only promos your own work, but will helps us with ours. I love reading blogs with tips that come out of a writer's actual expierence.

I started doing something like that on my blog a while back and it was very successful. Course, I've never been legit published ;)

I am actually curious to know a little bit about what events and life circumstances that you've experienced that has helped you develop you as a writer. Those things that have helped you develop your storyline as well.

Getting to read writing tips and advice is always nice!

One as a reader I like to try to understand events, circumstances, places and things of that nature that help an author create and develop his or her story. I find myself walking around places and looking at the scenery thinking, "Wow, this would make a interesting setting for a book or story...etc."

I am continuously checking your blog also for any updates of when the next book is coming or the development of the next book.
