Winter Storm Nemo strikes Connecticut

They said it would happen... I think we have over two feet of snow from Winter Storm Nemo. I am really enjoying having time at home with my family (it's a bit of a mini vacation) and I am hoping to get some quality writing done today.

Anyways, just wanted to post something fun. I am heading back outside to shovel some more... a lot more! If you are stuck because of this storm, consider reading one of my books today, especially if you have a Kindle, Nook, or iPad (-:

My daughter (9 yrs) brought me a letter to mail to Scott Appleton. She picked up the first two books in the "Sword of the Dragon" series at a local book signing and has been trying to find out how to get the rest of the series signed as she gets them. She asked that I help her mail the letter to you, but I have not found an address for sending. Thus, following is her letter, as written . . .

Dear Scott Appleton,
I really love Your "sword of the dragon" series. I just finished reading The Key of Living Fire. I think that all of your books are great, and so I am in great suspense waiting for your next book. When do you think your next book is going to come out? Soon, I hop. I read through your books like I am eating them, neot reading them.
Dantress must have much courage to give her life in birth. Do you think Carhira will marry Ombre? When I read your books, I feel terror, hope, and happyness with your charectors.
I'm still waiting for your next book!

Sincerly yours,
Skylar

WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24

In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.

I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
