Niagara Falls

Yesterday my wife and I drove up to Niagara Falls in New York. I've never seen the Falls and Kelley hadn't been there since she was 7. Friday night it rained so we stayed in a motel... what a motel: it stank, the mirror was dirty, the door was *ugh* pink, the wallpaper was peeling, the toilet was too small, and the furnishings were mostly broken. Kelley got half-way through microwaving the popcorn when I told her to stop it because the thing started smelling dangerous.
So today we woke up at 7AM and drove five minutes to Niagara Falls. God parted the clouds for most of our time there. It was a beautiful sight. A rainbow spanned the entire river in front of the falls. The mist fell like rain on the observation area. It was a great photographing opportunity!

Afterward we ate at Denny's. Pretty good food.
Then we left for Borders Express. In two hours we sold 18-books! It was a great spot to sell; right next to the food court. ...Tonight we are enjoying a suite room at the hotel... Tomorrow I have another signing. This one in Horseheads NY.

WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24

In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.

I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
