The store manager, Joe, was very friendly (in fact the employees were really great). I will be returning to this store in the Fall to a do a follow-up event and introduce readers to my second novel.
They had 25-copies of my book in stock and Kelley and I sold 17... a figure I was thrilled with as the first part of the day was fairly quiet. Andrew (my son) contributed with smiles for every customer (-:

That's wonderful Mr. Appleton! God blessed you greatly; I'm so pleased with your success :D
That's so awesome! We'll hope for even more in April, (although if you ask me, I'd say 17 out of 25 is pretty darn good.) :D I have my school preparing to advertise and I'm telling everyone I know.
BTW, that picture of you and your son is absolutely adorable!!! He's so very, very cute! Makes you just want to kiss him. :D
Horray! So glad that it was such a successful day!
This signing will open doors at other stores in the Morning Star chain that were unwilling to hold an author signing.
This coming Saturday I'll be at Barnes & Noble. B&N has also been difficult to schedule signings with so I am hoping to sell out their stock and use that sales history to get into other B&N.
I love reading about your sucess. Same story every time. "They've never had sucess....enter Scott" haha :D
Great job! :) Happy for you. Come to Kansas sometime. ;)
I agree with Nathan. You gotta love it! :D
Congratulations!! I'm about to start reading your book myself, thanks for the copy! Are you just going to tour in RI for now?
Hi Noah,
No, I have signings booked (so far) in CT, RI, MA, NY, and IL... with lots more to come. I will be visiting the west coast sometime this Fall.
Congrats on the event! The table and the poster look fabulous.
