Kestrel's Midnight Song-artwork begins!

NOTE: DO NOT COPY/TRANSFER THIS IMAGE--LEGAL ACTION WOULD BE TAKEN BY THE ARTIST
This is the sketch for the forthcoming novel from Flaming Pen Press titled Kestrel's Midnight Song. The artist is Halil Ural. He is an apprentice to Kerem Beyit and wow I'm impressed with the work so far!

It looks great Scott, I really like it. The griffin looks really impressive, grabs your attention right away. Especially it's head, the eye.

Sword of the Six was so wonderful . Bobby and I are both waiting with anticipation for this second book and with the art work that I see here, I feel that it will be another God honoring exciting adventure for my grandson and I to go on together.

Hi Dot,
I am glad you enjoyed SoTS so much!

Please note, however, that this artwork is not for my book. It is for one of my authors, Jacob Parker from Idaho. But I'm sure you'll enjoy his book as well, it is a great Christian Fantasy/Mystery

WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24

In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.

I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
