Borders is liquidating

It is official, unfortunately and catastrophically: Borders bookstores will be closing their doors. It looks like this will be happening in the next couple months.

I was so sad to hear this. I grew up shopping there and for a year I enjoyed great success selling books to their customers (my novel) at signings.

Goodbye, Borders. ...Now I only wonder how long Barnes & Noble can survive. Or, will they sink too?

NOOOOO!!!!! That's my FAVORITE BOOKSTORE!!! :'( Now I'm really sad...

I guess the only good that comes of this is that there will be TONS of books on sale within the next couple of months, but I am really put down by this. I LOVE borders... more than Barnes and Nobles, for sure... (even though I like that bookstore too). Oh, that is just so sad.

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24

In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.

I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
