Indiana: we've arrived!

It took approx. 12-hours to drive out here from New Jersey, but I'm in Indiana now. Tomorrow I'll be meeting with area homeschoolers in Mentone and signing at a Borders location. My wife and I staggered our trip with a concert in Pennsylvania (Shane & Shane, and Bethany Dillon) which we greatly enjoyed). I'll post some pictures of our trip as soon as I have wireless again. At the moment I'm using our host family's computer.

I now have a couple different schools who'll be hosting me during my stay in southern Indiana. I'll be at a middle school in Sunman-Dearborn IN, and at a high school in northern Kentucky! God's blessing with open doors... I have a feeling we'll be on the road for a long while.

Ivorydancer,
I'll be staying in southern Indiana through early January. I can drive into many parts of Kentucky from there. Do you have a suggestion? Another school for me to visit? (-:

WELCOME TO THE WRITING SITE OF SCOTT APPLETON

"Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones." -Proverbs 16:24

In a world where morality is forsaken and Christ neglected, wholesome books are uncommon. The themes of my writing are love, self-sacrifice, and honor.

I see my generation turning from God to the gods of this world. I see homes torn apart in the pursuit of pleasure and self-gratification. Children are murdered by the millions every year . . . without ever seeing the world outside their mothers' wombs. Through fiction I strive to encourage those who are willing, to stand against these things and be heroes and heroines; chivalrous, gentle, full of righteous indignation, and the fear and love of their Creator.
